I’m in the Catskills and didn’t bring my cookbooks. Can anyone post?

Linguine noodles were on sale and I remembered this recipe I made for a milchig sheva brachos earlier this year. I hope someone can help me out!

I just looked at the Spice and Spirit that we have (purple edition) and I don't see a recipe for sesame linguine.

Could it be in a different cookbook?

It's not in that cookbook. Do you mean the sesame noodles from the Kosher Palate or from Kosher by Design?

I’ve only ever owned two cookbooks! I was positive it was from there but of course I can be mistaken .

Anyone??? I feel like I’ve lost my mind lol now it’s not about wanting the recipe anymore LOL

I was sure it was in the salad listed something like sesame linguine salad

I just went through it again, really not there. I couldn't even find a recipe where you may have switched in linguine for a different ingredient.

So what's your other cookbook? Very Happy

Those do look good! The one I’m looking for also had sautéed onions and peppers
But similar idea with sauce based on soy and sugar combo

From What's Cooking Cookbook
1 box linguine, cooked and drained
1 Spanish onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
2-3 T oil
3 T brown sugar
1/3 c soy sauce
2 T toasted sesame oil
1 clove crushed garlic

Cut peppers into strips, saute onion and pepper in oil until tender. Mix with linguine, combine rest of ingredients, pour over pasta and mix well. Serve cold.

Similar enough! Will make this Smile

Thank you everyone for your help! Maybe one day I will figure out where my recipe is from and why I was so sure it was from spice and spirit Smile
