AYLOR but I think these things are a judgment call. In gray areas we can push ourselves to do better. The halachos of the Nine Days are to make sure that we all carve out one time a year to mourn over spiritual destruction, and that should guide our personal interpretation of the details.

Okay, good point. I guess that's why I asked. It's not really in the spirit of the 9 days. I can hold back.
