My 2.5 year old has had a cold (in august???) for the past 2 days, and he's miserable. His poor little nose is leaky and his mouth is all wet, and he is so bothered by it and keeps asking me for tissues.
I've been giving him tons of fluids and using a saline spray. Humidifier at night.
Any hacks you can share for my poor lil dude?

This really works. Take an onion and cut it in half. Put it in your sons room for the night. In hte morning throw out the onion and your son will be feeling tho not perfect but a lot better

Salt lamp is excellent for sinus issues. They sell them in Bed Bath & Beyond, on Amazon etc. Leave it on day & night. For intense use even have 2 or 3 in a room. It gives a soft pink glow.
You know how if you have a cold & go to the beach the air is amazing & you can breathe? That's what this is like.

Thanks! I'll try the onion trick tonight. I'll order the salt lamp. It's so pretty

I am a very big fan of elderberry syrup, especially Sambuccus brand. They make a special version for children. It's a powerful anti-viral which I take at the first sign of a cold.
