I am arranging a shower for a friend who is a bride. It's gonna be super small - just a few friends in my house. I'm not looking to spend a lot or make it super fancy; just need some refreshments, games, gift etc. Maybe a theme.
Any ideas?

Have everyone fill out a card with a favorite recipe. Organize into a book.
Also a card/book of marriage advice.
Everyone should bring a less than 5$ present that has something to do with how they know/met the bride and she has to guess who's present came from who (ie a calculator bc we meet in math class. A coffee mug, bc we always go for coffee. Etc)
Newlywed game. Ask the groom a bunch of questions about the couple. See how many bride answers the same.
Theme: if there anything Bride love. Or bride and groom love, theme it that.

Maybe everyone can bring a small gift with the initials of their name. For example, if your name is Kailah Mandel you can get the kallah a kitchen magnet. The kallah has to figure out who got which gift.
I like the idea about getting recipes from each person.

Have everyone buy a hat or beanie for the kallah to have. Tell her to try on. It's really cute. (If she plans on wearing a fall)
Go to Dollar store or wherever and buy lots of gadgets. Everyone needs to give a brocha that has to do with them.
Example. Mouse trap. May u n very need this.
