Have her cut out/ draw pictures of all different types of Jews. Black hat, shtreimel, kipa srugah, no kipah, short shaitel, long shiatel, covered shaitel, tichel, scarves, no covering at all, vasseh zakin and bekitches, jeans and t-shirts. Put them all around a har sinai, or by the kotel. Caption ideas "Hashem loves us all, k'ish echad belev echad, kulanu yachad, its time to put our differences aside" etc
Theme is ahavas yisrael. Build the Bais Hamikdash.

Jewish themed puzzle?
Btw, I could be wrong, but I don't think needle crafts/knitting/sewing etc is allowed on Tisha B'Av.

I found the cutest idea on chinuch.org . I think they call it tisha box or something - take an empty tissue box and use a sharpie to outline the kosel. Then paint over it brown on all four sides. On the top paint a sky (you can even use cotton for clouds). Inside you can write letters to Hashem/ mitzvos.

For younger kids, cut out different shapes from construction paper & create a Yerushalayim skyline with gate wall on bottom

for younger kids create a kosel on inside of shoebox cover, for grass between stones tear up a green scour. Have the back of men profiles cut out ( could be just a long shape rounded on top from offwhite paper for tallis) & stapled to bottom inside of cover & shake them back & forth for davening.

You can do kosel or gate wall with foam stickies, that you wet a drop or lick & it sticks ( looks like bamba) in colored tones, stuck to a paper nect to each others

For older kids you can do a tisha bav stool to sit on.
For boys build from wood & nails. Maybe sand & paint it.
For girls theres an inflatable pouf stool craft that gets decorated with felt circles layered to create a flower effect

There are tiny bead crafts that gets stuck on with tweezers to create beautiful professional pics that is pretty enough to hang in your house for decoration or could be used in sukkah.

Also beautiful sequin pics stuck in with pin needles into a foam covered with black velvet

We are doing our usual: we visit a reuse store and pick up massive wall sized canvases, usually for a dollar or two a peice. These will cover the walls of our succah. They are painted on, so first step is to give each one a white wash, than everyone can paint whatever they want on theirs. I try to direct the kids towards succos themes, but it doesn't always turn out that way, and that's ok. The paintings evolve from now until succos, adding wood bits, material, cut outs from magazines, glitter, seqins, beads, buttons...it's one of our best projects of the year.

no if your girl enjoys building with wood, kol hakovod, go ahead, I let, & give permission.
It was mere suggestions, what each would really enjoy or appreciate. Adjust accordingly. Whatever works.

My girls actually just like to color. I try to have nice coloring books (not the recycled gray pages type) and sharpened color pencils in the house. Also, fresh crayons
