I have an appointment with my 3 1/2 year old daughter for a dental cleaning.
At her appointment six months ago I refused dental x-rays.
I’m debating whether I should have it done at this upcoming appointment (assuming she cooperates).
Any thoughts?

Yes, do it! At that age my DD already had multiple cavities and we were bh able to start treating them before they needed root canals

I do them every time the dentist recommends it. Recently one of my kids had a bad cavity that was visible on x ray but not by exam. I was very happy to take care of it before it required a root canal.

My dentis doesn’t start until 4. Sometimes 5 if teeth look good. My daughter saw dentist at 3 and 3 1/2 with no X-rays
