Chabad has Shabbos minyan. Not sure about weekday minyanim. There are lots of suite hotels in Saratoga

What are some outdoor activities in Saratoga Springs? I'm going to be there for one day with a 4 year old and a baby.

There’s a beautiful park and downtown area. Also a small children’s museum.

Good luck with hotels in Saratoga at this time of year. With the race track open, it’s a zoo and hotels are expensive. Also. No minyan during the week. Find out if belz still has their camp there. Then you can find a minyan.

Price chopper has a hot kosher deli.

Ny state museum has a 9/11 memorial.
The museum is free . Also a nice carousel upstairs. In the building next door there is an observation deck up 42 stories up. On a clear day you can see 5 states. (And it's free)
The million dollar staircase in the Capitol is interesting. We also went to see the Senate and assembly chambers. As they were not in session my children were thrilled to take pictures at the podium.
You can go watch the locks nearby
We were lucky that there were boats, waiting to go thru the locks.

We're gonna be there right after Labor day.
Anyone know if there are still minyanim at Lake George and/or Saratoga Springs the first week of September?

We went to Albany last year and had a great time. I called the University of Albany Chabad last year--first, they don't open until the semester starts, so it might not work for you in terms of timing. Second, they told me that they are located within UA dining centers and you need a UA ID to get in the door. I would just call before assuming it will work out.
