I know this is basic housekeeping question..
I have surfaces around the house that I don't really touch, Eg dressers I don't put anything on top bc I like the clean look, curio ect
Every few days I see a accumulation of dust. How do you get rid of it? Do I use damp cloth to wipe down? Or buy one of those swiffer type of things that I see advertised to clean up after pets?

What you use depends on the surface as wood would be treated differently than granite and granite differently than marble etc.

A microfiber cloth is generally excellent for picking up dust. A Swifter duster is good for dusting hard to reach spots or where there are tchotchkes that also need to be dusted.

About once a week I spray all my wood furniture with Murphy's oil soap spray and then wipe with a cotton cloth.
