What are you doing with your teens when they aren’t working or in camp? I could use some bonding time with them. Thanx.

What are there interest? If they live art go to a pottery place and make something together. Go to the beach, watch a movie at home, take a hike, take them to an indoor bounce place.

Thanx so much. Anyone else? Lots of days, with lots of hours of bonding time to fill up.

Take a trip to Manhattan one day, window shop and have lunch at a pizza place.

Watch a movie together one day with popcorn, twizzlers and cozy blankets.

Walk by the water together and pick up the breeze. They can bring skates if they wish.

Play professional organizer one day and everybody gets their closet in ship shape. Laugh

Pack a picnic and take a trip on a ferry to Governors Island.

Dedicate one day to make desserts for YT and fill up the freezer. Each teen gets to choose and make one dessert.

Plan a trip to the Museum of Radio & Television. Everybody can choose from older shows they'd like to watch like I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, Seinfeld, Friends...

Bake challah and babka and use the extra dough for fresh garlic knots for that days lunch or dinner.

Plan a trip to a roller rink.

Thanx for the ideas. Maybe I'll take your idea of taking her to Manhattan. Where should we window shop and go for pizza? Thanx

Depends on where you are coming from. If you are coming from Flatbush then I would suggest you stop at Brooklyn Bridge Park and explore the area then walk across the Brooklyn or Manhattan Bridge into Manhattan. If you walk across the Brooklyn Bridge then you will be near Southstreet Seaport which has lots to see as well as the 911 Memorial which you can check out as well. Mini Golf is nearby as well at pier 25 and you can walk by the water all the way to Chelsea Piers for more activities. If you are walking the Manhattan Bridge then you will come into Chinatown so you can explore that as well as Little Italy. Then you can find a restaurant to eat at.

If you are coming in from somewhere else then you can walk the Brooklyn Bridge to Williamsburg explore Domino Park and the area surrounding it and then eat out in one of the restaurants in WB like Gottliebs.

This is Southstreet Seaport-- https://www.seaportdistrict.nyc/

911 Memorial-- https://www.911memorial.org/

https://pier25.com/mini-golf/

https://www.chelseapiers.com/

Food, check each for hechsher-- https://www.yelp.com/search?cf.....2C+NY

The Tenement Museum may be interesting as well-- https://www.tenement.org/
