Looking for current recommendations for takeout shabbos food in Jlm.
Looking for places that I can order from in advance for delivery, as well as places I can walk in on Thursday or Friday and select my own food.
Thank you.

Thanks. I need food for 2 meals for a small-ish family; do they do that, or just larger scale catering?

You can go into “la casa” which is off one of the side streets has lots of mains and sides to choose from. Get there early or it gets crazy

Hadar geula to pick up soups chulent dips.

Small scale.
Email them and they'll send the menu and pricing.

Best is going to be a matter of taste. Just go to Geula early on Friday morning, walk around and look at all the options. Then decide which you like the look of best, and go and buy from them. Or if your family is the adventurous type, buy a little bit from every place that looks interesting, and you can spend Shabbos comparing them all.

In the Ganei Geulah area I highly recommend Mifgash HaEsh (Yirmiyahu 23). They have takeout Thursday and (I think) Friday. Reasonably priced and every single thing I have ever had from them has been delicious.

Madanei Geula on Kikar Hashabes, or Hadar Geula on Malchai Yisroel

Both are great with a Heimishe taste not being to spicy like many Israel foods

Goldys for sure. Their food is great quality. I prefer to choose everything in person but there is delivery and we have done it that way too.
