We’re moving beginning of next week iyh.I live in a very small apt. now. Have boxes stacked up on every possible space. Still got to prepare and set up shabbos, laundry, and all daily things. I’m feeling so overwhelmed.

I kept out a few necessary things that would be packed last. That included a small amount of clothing. What types of prepared Shabbos food is sold in your area?

Im also moving iyh next week.
The trick is to go away for shobbas! (Even to move into an empty house, if you know someone thats in the bungalow colony..)
I did that last week too and it was the only way we could've managed.

Take out food if possible
Keep a box separate of all the things you need on a daily basis- everyone gets their own ‘immediate box’ and a ‘shabbos box’
And drink some wine as you prep for shabbos, play some music.. you’ll look back at this one day and smile
It’s temporary. Remember that.

It is so stressful and unsettling!
Times like this definitely call for takeout, or at least prepared meats that you just have to stick in the oven.
We just moved and included those things in the moving expenses.
For laundry, in the last few days I washed the minimum necessary and just ended up having a full hamper on the moving truck 🙈
