I tried it recently for six weeks, it didn't work for me but that doesn't mean it won't work for others.
I got used to being hungry before it was time to break the fast, in fact I found that part empowering and it took away a lot of the dilemmas and thoughts about food since it was no longer an option 'after hours' - what was hard for me was keeping the calories down once I was allowed to eat. Being hungry AND eating a limited amount while I could eat was too much for me.
When after six weeks I realized I'd only lost one kilo, when a few years ago I lost over a kilo a week using a different method - I concluded that this was not for me and reverted back to the method that worked for me then.

I think it needs to be a good 'shidduch' of what works for you and your mindset. If you can stick by it, it's healthy and it works for you - stick by it. If not - switch.

In theory, you should be feasting when not fasting. Ideally with low carb, high fat, moderate protein but you should not be under eating. That is how to kill your metabolism

How do you deal with the hunger?? I ate supper at 6. Now I'm hungry and stam in the mood of a body.
