Shmuel is also the haftara for Rosh Hashana isn't it - Chana's tefilla? If so, suitable for Rosh Hashana for this reason too.

Yes!
There’s a pasuk in Amos that says Aryeh sha’ag mi lo yira
(A lion roars, who is not afraid)
The Shla Hakadosh says that aryeh is alluding to the yemei hadin: elul, rosh hashana, yom kippur, hoshana raba.
It’s a perfect baby name for this time (which is why I used it  )

Sh'ar Yoshuv. Not a typical name though. Comes from Navi. There's a famous Rov in EY with that name.

The former chief rabbi of Haifa, Rav Shar Yashuv Cohen, zt"l. I seem to remember hearing of someone else.
