If you don't want to take the booster - don't take the booster.

Why all the ???? And !!!!!?
So you are not immune to the measles. Many people your age lost immunity. You can either take the vaccine or not and put yourself at a risk of Chas vesholom getting it.

Checking your immune system is standard at a wellness check up.

Around NY a lot of the communities are running titer checks because they're discovering this. Just get the shot. I got a booster recently and had no side effects at all

I got the vaccine (2 doses) at age 64. I was nervous about catching measles at my age and my titers were low.

Just to be aware, for those of childbearing age, not to get pregnant immediately after the MMR.
Talk to your OB, mine says 3 months, some say one month.
I've heard many instances where Rabbonim have given heterim no problem for this

Because one of the components is German measles which can cause miscarriage or deformities for months after you have the disease so they want you to wait after the vaccine also

There is a tiny risk of getting actual rubella (German measles) from the vaccine -although it has not happened on many many studies and getting German measles when pregnant is extremely dangerous for the baby so they prefer that you wait
