What time do you feel a 9 year old should go to sleep? My older kids it was probably 730/8. The youngest seems to be a VERY different story. What’s a good bedtime?

That seems to be the trend in my house too. My older children had a much earlier stricter bedtime. I would say 830 for a nine year old

She wakes up in the 6”s. My general goal for school is 815/830 and apparently I’m the meanest mother in the world

As a teacher I thank you for giving her those hours of sleep so she can be prepared and ready to learn and have fun.

You’re going to be he meanest no matter how you slice it, may as well have a well rested child. I would say 8PM if they are waking up that early.

Some teachers send home bedtime charts to be filled in & returned weekly with a 7-730 bedtime for 7-8 year olds. They start school here at 9:00 for that age both boys & girls
