Hi,
Someone gave my husband and elementary boys tickets to the Blue Claws Baseball game tonight. Does anyone know if frum people go to these games? Is it considered OK to go? My husband is ok taking the boys but not if it's not acceptable in our circles.

We don't live in Lakewood, but DH was once there with DS and took him to see a game (when the Blue Claws were playing Tim Tebow's team!). They were basically the only frum people there, and were later told that it's considered completely taboo for Lakewooders to go, though I'm sure there are some who do.

I have a bunch of boys and have never heard of any of their friends going to a Blue Claws game.

I wonder why it’s not done. Minor league baseball is very wholesome and family-friendly (obviously, I’m not in or from Lakewood).
