Any super techy imamoms here?
My windows ran an update, and now the laptop keyboard is not working! As in I cannot even type in my PIN to get into windows! That power button is working, the mouse pad is working, but nothing else! What should I do!?

Try using the system restore, just search for it. You have an internal keyboard in control panel

Simple as it sounds, sometimes just restarting solves problems.

The problem is I can't even get into Windows because I can't put my pin in because the keyboard is not working

OK, so not this time. I'll give it some thought (but haven't had Windows for a while).

See if you can borrow an external keyboard to isolate the problem better

You can click on help and can sometimes access the accessibility features and turn on the onscreen keyboard

As SmileNow said, there's a way to use your mouse to pop up a virtual keyboard on the screen that you can "type" on with your mouse. I believe it's under "accessibility features" as she wrote.
