It's crazy that I spend $3 on a romper from Ali but then I have to buy a shell for $20!
Is there anywhere that I can buy cheap shells for a baby (1 yr old)?
Doesn't have to be a shell per se, just a tight shirt that can go under a romper.

How about a loose shrug or something soft and cottony rather than a tight synthetic shell?
(Does a 1-year-old really need a shell?)

I have the short sleeved ribbed one from ali. The "ribbing " gets tight once it's dried and the fit is snug and cute.
I think it runs true to size.
Not sure about boys, maybe this one can be uni...

Unless it's a "jumper" with which is is normal to put a shell under, for a romper for a baby during the summer I just let them go sleeveless. There's no chiyuv of tznius for a baby. But yes I have done long sleeve onesies when I need to.
I once got an adorable winter dress for my daughter that was sleeveless for the winter--which I didn't understand, I think I ended up returning it b/c I couldn't find an appropriate under-shirt. (it was like green and purple plaid for an infant couldn't really do black/ white)

We are very makpid on tznius so we put on a long sleeved shell and tights under every outfit. My baby also wears a skirt from 1 month old. jk.
I'm talking winter here. Don't want her to be sleeveless.

Any ribbed legging & /or ribbed bonnets? Would love the ribbed outfits frum stores are selling but on a super tight budget now.
(I know I’m so boring -following the frum trend, but they do look really cute!!)
