Looking for recipes to make in 4 oz mason jars.
They aren’t oven safe so can’t bake in them.
I already have strawberry shortcake so not that.
I’d only want recipes that freeze well.
Would love:
Chocolate and/or peanut butter recipe
Fruit based - if you’ve done it let me know how it freezes.
Anything else...
Thanks

Are you using the jars because you like the look or you want to preserve the dessert?
If you like the look, anything goes. Take your regular mousse recipes and fill them up like you would any mousse cup.
I'd be wary of the fruit maybe

Looks.
I’d like recipes that are more of a dessert rather then decorative dish at a kiddush.

You can try chocolate trifle! I dunno if it freezes well, but it takes minutes to assemble.
You make a duncan Hines chocolate cake.
Make a package if chocolate pudding.
Whip up a richs whip.
And then layer them all up! (In that order)
They all freeze well individually. Never tried it assembled.
You can also do peanut butter mousse!
Whip up a 16oz richs whip with 2 cups confectionery sugar, 1 cup crunchy pb, and a tablespoon of honey.
Freezes very well. You can even serve it as ice cream. Garnish with a squirt of canned whip cream and crushed oreos+pretzels.
ETA: Ooooo another good one- lemon custard "pie".
Crush up graham crackers and fill the bottom as thick as you like. Then mix up a small container of marshmallows fluff, a small richs whip, and a can of lemon pie filling. Fill up jars (you can pipe it in to make it prettier) and freeze. SERVE FROZEN. Garnish with a squirt of canned whip cream and crushed graham crackers.

MiriFr, I tried all of the yummy recipes you gave. They all freeze really well if wrapped properly. The mason jar thingy takes care of that part for sure.

Thank you for ideas.
Do you put cake under peanut butter mousse?

I have a suggestion for you, but don't want to post under my sn, since I made it many times!
