I would like to make a normal muffin/cookie/bar recipe with some almond flour (for protein) but no other strange ingredients (that's what I see when I search online) TIA!

There is a nice wholesome morning muffin in the first Bais Yaakov cookbook. It called for whole wheat flour and I’m not sure if and how to substitute for almond.

Thank you for the ideas! I ended up making the recipe on the Quaker oatmeal container, but I replaced half the flour with almond flour and put chocolate chips instead of raisins-they were pretty good & kid approved to be snack for school : )

& I also cut the sugar by half a cup
