What do you wear yom kipper? Is it different than your usual covering?

Generally I start the day in my shabbos sheitel. I may change to a white tichel when I go home in the middle and come back in that for neila

No different than any other day. I wear mitpachot every day of the week. Weekdays and shabbat. Same thing for Yom Kippur. It might be a white one, but mitpachat.

Depends on how I feel. Physically. Usually I try to wear a shaitel but if I have a headache then I’ll switch to a tichel.

YK is a yomtov. I wear what I would wear on any other yomtov. White, if I have it.

White tichel on the shaitel. Normally I don't wear a hat or tichel on my wig. So this is different for me.

I used to wear a sheitel but never RH & YK for several years.
(Although I tried to find a nice white or off white tichel, I happen to look awful in such a pale color so usually ended up with something with white in it.)
For one thing I am not interested in being busy brushing back my bangs etc, & didnt want to be focused on my looks.
Second we're supposed to strive higher in Aseres Ymei Teshuvah and what I really wanted was to stop wearing a sheitel.
Eventually I did.

White tichel. I am usually the only one in the shul who wears one though. At my old shul just about every married woman wore a sheitel or white tichel. Where I go now is mostly sheitels.
