I'm having a bit of a fashion vs. comfort crisis with footwear.

I did wear heels a lot when younger, then it turned to chunky heels, then wedges, then flats.

I've been wearing stylish flats for a while but noticed my feet were throbbing at the end of the day. I work in a professional environment so I am expected to dress nice. I finally said enough is enough, and bought stylish sneaker-like shoes, and wore them to work today. What a difference!

Suggestions please on companies or sites that offer comfortable shoes that are professional and are nice looking.

Try The Walking Company for ideas on comfort brands.

Personally, I do well with flats or very low heels, so I wear a lot of Sam Edelman, French Sole, Fly London and Rothys. I also wear some Sole Society -- I'm in love with these, with a small heel https://www.solesociety.com/ma.....uyers

Dr Scholls makes some really nice booties which do not have that ‘comfortable shoe’ look but I find them to be super comfy.

In the winter, some styles of ankle length boots can be very comfortable, I am told, if you like that look.
