I had no idea where to post this...
My 3 year old got earrings last year. She's only had the earrings that her ears were pierced with but a couple times already the back fell out, so we bought a new back from the piercing place. She also lost the whole earring twice after we didn't notice that the back fell off. But we bought the same earrings again.
Anyway, I want to order her a couple pairs of earrings but I'm not sure what to order? Not looking for anything expensive but I'm confused about the differences. Some are hypoallergenic, some are stainless steel or gold plated.
What's the best that won't cause any sort of reaction? Preferably a few for a good price.
Amazon links would be helpful.
Thanks!!

It seems the type of metal isn't an issue (you haven't mentioned anything about infections, so I assume all is okay). Just use whatever type of metal you used until now.
This issue seems to be the construction of the earring. Perhaps you need posts with silicone-filled backings that grip the post better. Or screw backings.
Or maybe 3 years old is too young for earrings.

my niece had the same thing-they found if they got tiny hoop style, she couldn't lose the backs and the posts didn't dig in.
Quick amazon search-this is the sort of thing she has.

Surgical grade stainless steel is much less likely to cause a reaction than gold or silver, or cheap 'mystery' metals.
Titanium would be even better, but it's hard to find in normal earring styles.
Hatzlacha!

Thanks for all the replies.
I think my point in saying that we lost the other earrings was partially to ask about something that doesn't fall out but also just to say that I need to buy her earrings! I'm a tired mama and tend to ramble. Lol.
But my main reason for posting was to ask what is good that doesn't cause infection.
Any more suggestions?

I like hoops and I put crazy glue so they can't open and fall out.

What do you do if you have to remove them?

I bought these for my two year old daughter a month ago and it hasn't fallen out and no infections. If you do get them just make sure to screw it on as tight as you can so they don't fall out!
I also think they are really pretty. I got the 3 mm size and it's perfect, not too big not too small
