Hi!
Not sure if I’m posting in the right forum, but could use some tips or advice. I’m a first time mom, I’m in my mid 30’s
My baby bh used to sleep through the night so well.
He just turned 8 months and now he’s waking up a few times a night crying, or wanting to play, or his paci that he throws..
How long does this last?? It’s been this way for almost a week
He’s not hungry, his diaper is fine, he’s room is perfect temperature...
Could this be teething??

I don't have much good advice, sorry, but I do know that this is normal for babies around this time to go through a difficult sleeping stage. I'm sure you'll gets tons of good imamother advice later:) Hang in there!

If you think it might be teething give him infant Tylenol one night. If he calms down and sleeps peacefully then you know it's likely from teething

Teething is a very likely culprit. Tylenol helps.
It could also be a growth spurt or a new maturity that causes baby to have more needs during the night. Hard to tell.

First of all get a paci clip and attach it to his pj’s so you aren’t searching for paci’s in the dark of night.
If he is crying it is most likely teething. I give Tylenol for that.
If he is just babbling, I would ignore him. He will learn that it’s not play time.

Could he be hungry?
Sometimes around that age they're ready for "more".

It’s normal for this age.
Is he hungry?

Could be teething, could be a leap in development that causes a sleep regression. It's annoying but unfortunately normal. I recall my babies doing that around 7-8 months.
