We are really struggling now and can't buy clothes shoes or food for y"t. We tried chessed of Lakewood and Mrs shanik. Anyone know other organizations or individuals that can help us out?

Was also going to say Mrs. Shanik. Was she able to help?
BMG gives out coupons to various stores and sometimes your local Rav can also get you coupons with discounts and grocery cards. They have literally been lifesavers for us.
There's also Chasdei Lev and Moadim L'Simcha, where you can order food and paper goods for cheaper in bulk.
Serendipity has nice clothing for pennies.
Hugs, it's so hard, especially this time of year.

You may need your local Rav to vouch for you and pull for you. Maybe your Rav can call Tomchei Shabbos on your behalf.

I know that Chasdei Leb already had their Lakewood distribution. Madim besimcha I think is available to everyone; they sell food and supplies for cost. I believe you call tomchai shabbos number at 732-905-7136 and choose the option for madim bsimcha. Did you call ahavas tzedaka (mrs shaniks organization)? And yes, defintely speak to your rav. Good luck!

In Monsey there's Kupas Ezra that helps out with YomTov for needy families. Maybe you can reach out to them and see if there's a corresponding organization in Lakewood for this.
Wishing you lots of hatzlocha and parnossa brevach!

What sizes are your kids? I have some clothing in perfect condition from last year and I'm sure others here do too.

Kupas yom tov is only for men learning in BMG, same for BMG coupons.
Definitely reach out to your rav.
There are rabanim and askanim who give out gift cards to grocery stores and discount vouchers to clothing stores.
A lot of shuls in town, in developments etc. collect to be distributed within the neighborhood before yom tov.
Hatzlacha, hope things get better soon for you.

I skipped the clothing and shoes. if someone needs a new shirt, doesnt warrant a wardrobe just because it is yom tov. Same with shoes. if it fits it's ok. for food reach out to tomchei shabbos.Again, no reason for elaborate meals and expensive meat. It is not Pesach where you need pricey matzah and wine.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe wanted a moas chitim fund set up, not just for Pesach but for Tishrei as well. Succos is also very expensive and when every day is either Shabbos or Yom tov, people miss lots of work.
There are lots of old threads with money saving tips such as cheap chol ha moed activities but the haves and have nots are very difficult for families at this time of year.
