If anyone has this oven I’d appreciate you answering- I will be using my new ge profile oven this yomtov and wondering if the shabbos mode will shut off? Should I be disabling something so that it stays on?

I have a GE oven, not sure if it’s the same model. When mine is set to shabbos mode, it remains on shabbos mode until I turn it off.

Shabbos mode is usually up to 72 hours. (Good for three day yomtov )

I have used it for two and three days without a problem. I think it’s actually a little more than 72 hours, because a three-day Yom Tov comes out to a bit more than 73 hours. No problems except that the kitchen becomes quite hot.

The Sabbath mode overrides the 12-hr shutoff.

Just a heads up. You CAN change the temperature. It’s delayed, and no electronics show. But occasionally, for reasons I don’t understand, the oven will shut off when you do. Don’t panic. It will turn itself back on after a few minutes. It’s only happened to me once or twice in a decade, but the panic was real, and I don’t want it to happen to you.
Shana tova.
