Anyone know if whole wheat pastry sheets are available pre-made? It could be any other dough but white flour.

Any thoughts how to season turkey roll to use? I have a guest with food restrictions that include apples and honey.

1. How to make the deli roll delicious.
2. Is there something besides honey that I can put out to make my guest feel included?
3. Any other special dishes would help. So far I have plain salmon and special rolls.

coconut syrup, agave syrup, maple syrup ... check out selection at whole foods if you have one near you [just make sure they say vegan if that is the reason for their restriction]

You can put out Silan which is date honey to help the guest feel included.
Sorry I don't know about whole wheat pastry dough.
For a turkey roast, rub it with 1 tbsp salt and 6 crushed garlic cloves. Smear with a can of cranberry sauce. Bake covered at 325 for around 3 hours. Cool before slicing. Return to pan juices.

I dont understand what the restrictions are except honey. Speaking as someone who doesn’t eat a lot of things, your guts will be happy just to have food they can eat. I’m not going to our shul dinner because according to the chef there is literally nothing I can eat. I went last year and it sucked to be able to eat nothing, pay for it and have to go home and eat.

Anyways. I doubt anyone eats less types of food than me. Give me the restriction and I’ll give you the menu.

Great idea! I have silan. I think I cut up other fruits. Thanks so much.

You’re trying to make deli roll? I’ve never actually made that, so no idea if this would work, but what about using a corn tortilla or whole wheat wrap. Or making it into a faux wrap with lettuce, for people who don’t do bread at all.

Shana tova.

I've made deli rolls using whole wheat wraps. Not as rich but still delicious.

I never heard of it before moving to Monsey. It's a baked dough with the meat baked inside.

Btw. My mom usually brushes the dough with duck sauce then places the meat on and folds it up. Sometimes an egg wash and everything but the bagel spice or use your favorite.

Also your favorite sauce in place of duck sauce, if that s not your fav
