my dining/living room furniture is ready for big change. Need a decorator that can guide me and help me refurnish my home.
My style is propably more contemporary.
Im still holding on to a bit of that conservative style but I just redid my kitchen and its pretty much modern.
Any recommendations for a interior decorator?
Also, it cant be some one intimidating or pushy. Need to feel confortable with who ever im working with.

I know a few people who used Ruchy Klein from Monsey and were really happy. She writes decor columns for Binah. Good luck!

May I ask who advised with kitchen design? Which cabinets did you choose?

Were you happy?

I know this is an old post, but does she have an instagram page, does anyone know what she charges or have her contact info?

Still following.

Any Brooklyn Queens or 5 towns, frum decorators with instagram accts?

Why Brooklyn Queens and 5 towns? Because the look of professionally decorated homes in those places, that Ive seen, more closely resembles my taste!

So curious: what characterizes that style of decor?

Threre are exceptions, but take Beverly Hills, with all its billionaires, if you look at some of their homes in decorating magazines, they go for a totally different look, almost wanting their homes to look as if they werent decorated professionally, even though they were. Unlike most frum Jews, especially frum Jews in the NY area, and frum Canadians, who like more formal decor, whether its modern or traditional or a mix.

Ive been proven wrong. I was asked on this thread why frum decorators work better w frum people and I answered that they "get" frum needs and tastes better. I just came across pics of a home decorated by I assume a non frum decorator or kitchen place (Dream Kitchens? maybe they are frum?), thats very "frummie" looking.

Note the wall of Sforim, past the glass doors on the left, and sink on the right (I think only frum people put sinks in the ding room), in the photo of the Dining Room.

Im wondering when this kitchen was made, being that its so traditional.

This company is owned by Rick Glickman in Illinois, not Lakewood.
