Lakewood NJ is supposed to be sunny on Sunday with high of 73 degree. Is sweatshirts to warm for such a day. My kids long sleeve thin cotton is summery in color and I see many of there friends wearing winter clothes in darker colors. The kids want to wear the new clothes .Which I refuse to put on in the hot weather we had. Sunday no uniform could they wear their sweatshirt dress or corduroy jumpers?

73? I'd do summery long sleeves. It gets sunny mid day!
My 5 yo was wearing a long sleeved shirt in that weather but asked if he could change into short sleeves.

Summer is over. Put the clothes away yesterday.
Sweatshirts are too hot for Sunday but a corduroy jumper with long sleeve top that is thin is fine with socks.

I would do the opposite. A corduroy jumper is a winter garment, while sweatshirts can be worn all year long.
