Ds is not home. He needs food that he can eat quickly and taste ok. He makes tradition soup but it’s not healthy. Is there anything else he can make that is healthy besides eating protein bars?

Hard boiled eggs? Hippeas are a snack food but filled with enough nutrition that I sometimes eat them as a meal on the go. Oatmeal? Wraps with hummus, veggies, cheese... What does he have access to in terms of food preparation?

He only bought electric kettle for hot water. He can buy small appliances if it’s not too expensive and the preparation is fast and easy.

There are instant cups of chickpeas and rice and such available.
Does he like peanut butter and crackers?
Buy the shelf stable hummus.
Instant oatmeal packets.
Kind bars.
If he has a freezer, bread, cheese and a tiny sandwich maker.

If he has a tiny one-burner heater, he can make himself lots of things: pasta, rice and veggies, soups, etc.

He doesn’t have time or space. He needs something quick and easy

Can he peel veggies?
Raddishes, zucchini, and cucumbers are pretty filling and very good raw.

Peanut butter crackers
Mixed nuts/trail mix
Microwave popcorn (if he has access)
Fruit (whole apple or orange)
Tuna pouch (easy and not messy to open)
Rice cakes with cheese (does he have access to refrigerator?)
