Hi, hoping someone can help me with this.
I'm new in Israel. I visited a dentist who prescribed some antibiotics for me. But since taking them, I've been experiencing some issues that I think are side effects of the antibiotics.
In the past, Nystatin has helped me with these issues. And the dentist is willing to give me a prescription for Nystatin, but says it would be helpful if I know the specifics of what to ask for--form or quantity.
My problem: I don't know what is available here. If it is relevant, my insurance is Meuchedet. Is this a question I need to ask them? Or they will just wonder why I'm asking them and not the doctor. (My Hebrew's not that great so I'm hesitant to even try.)
Can anyone help me untangle this?

If there is a Meuchedet pharmacy counter near you, I'd ask them if they include this drug among their offerings. Most pharmacists speak enough English to be able to handle this question.

Thanks! I called and got information, kind of. (In the end dentist said he doesn't think nystatin will help me so not getting it.)
