The inexpensive ones available at Marshall's, Amazon etc are not holding up for me.
Is there a brand available online or in the frum stores that is much thicker (not wool) just an all year round good quality black skirt. Would be super appreciated of recommendations.

The Monte Carlo skirt seems fine. You can get it in the frum stores or on amazon.

I don't see any size options when I go to that link...

Huh..I clicked on the link and that's weird, no sizes! But I went to the bar on top, clicked skirts, found the skirt (it was the 1st one) then clicked add to cart, and it had a pull down menu of sizes. If it helps, I generally wear a 14 in skirts, and I bought the XL. It;s a bit loose, but I like it that way - not clingy anywhere.

can you wear it with longer shirts, sweaters, or is it too bulky? I like to wear stuff that will hide my tummy Wink

do you know how the shirts run as well?

do you hand wash the skirt or throw it in the machine?

I've never bought a top from them, but I've thought about it! I wear the skirt with long shirts all the time, but they don't have to be long (not like the Monte Carlo skirts - I won't wear those without a very long shirt, because I don't like how they cling around my tummy and in the back. ) I throw the skirt in the machine and hang to dry, but I have accidentally put it in the dryer and it's still fine.
