My daughter is newly bas mitzvah-ed and Yom Kippur is her first major fast. On Tzom Gedalia she took her concerta (for ADHD) with a drop of water. I don't think she can take it dry. She is an absolute behavioral nightmare without her meds and I'm honestly not sure she'd make it through the fast without the concerta. Not sure I'd make it through the day if she didn't take her meds.
I guess I will ask a shaila but I'm curious to hear from others what possible psak's/options there are on this issue.

Ask your own Rabbi,
BUT
My DH says it’s mandatory that she takes it even with a little water, less than 1.5 ounces.

My kids with ADHD have been given a psak to take their meds with less than a cheekfull of water. A small swallow is enough for the ones who can't take it dry.
No rav has suggested the do without the meds.

I'm allowed to take my adderall on YK & TB, with as much water as needed to get it to go down. So I take it with the least bit necessary.
