And I feel very self conscious. I have no sense of taste or anything. I just have enough of a sense to realize that I don't fit in, but I don't know how to change/what to do/what to buy. Please tell me how to fix myself up so I can start feeling confident and succeeding in my dating.

hugs. I think your best bet is if you have a friend in real life who likes to shop  take you shopping. Is that a possibility?
