I cannot umwind and fall asleep. I think I will need my medicine. Hopefully I will fall asleep and stay asleep till like 8am. Soup is ready. Thats all. BH I have ingredients.

Totally joining your pity party.
I switched jobs from place which was closed erev chagim and chol hamoed.
Working every single day of erev chag and chol hamoed except for my usual day off. I am in a really bad mood over it.
And yes, I knew what I was getting myself into.
At least in Israel chag itself is never a problem.
