There’s a great playground at 100 st in Central Park just across from Mt. Sinai, and the Conservatory Gardens at 105 st are beautiful and fun to run around in, too. If you’re willing to go a bit further down, you can visit the Jewish Museum (92nd and 5th), which has a children’s section that is very engaging, or the Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design (91st and 5th) which is really cool and different.
