Any time I make peanut chews, they are hard by the next day. Any tips?
the recipe I use is 1 cup peanut butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup karo syrup and 6 cups rice krispies.

Try 1 cup on, corn syrup and sugar and 5-5.5 cups rice Krispies. In general, ore rice Krispies make it harder and less make it chewier

try it with these proportions:

1 c peanut butter, 1/2 c corn syrup, light kind, 1/2 c brown sugar, packed, 1 tsp vanilla and 3 c rice krispies.

it may be that the sugar amount is too high and is making them hard.

heating them slightly before serving maybe loosen them up.

I do-
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
Cook until thick and syrupy and sugar melts. Don't overcook.
Add 5-5 1/2 cups rice crispies. Mix.
Always perfectly delicious.

I think the important thing is to melt the 1
Cup of pb 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of syrup on very low.
Low and slow is best. As soon as all the sugar is dissolved turn it off and add the 5-6 cups of rice Krispjes.
If it cooks too long it goes hard.

As other's said, melt the peanut butter, sugar, and corn syrup. And make sure its stored properly in an airtight container at room temperature.

I think your recipe is fine. Warm everything up just enough to melt it (not more!) but don't let it boil or else it becomes candy and gets hard!!

I put 4 1/2 cups rice crispies. My family likes it more chewy.
