Defrosting meat loaf

Hi all you expert and prepare-in-advance chefs,
I never cook anything in advance because I don't know how to freeze/defrost things well so that they taste fresh.
I have frozen meatloaf that I need to serve.
Do I defrost and then heat?
Put in the oven frozen?
Cover?
Uncovered?
1/2 and 1/2?

Defrost it completely and then reheat covered.
