Anyone have recommendations for a safe car seat and small lightweight snap n go system?
(I don't want to spend $$$ on the Doona so please don't suggest that.)
I had the Graco ClickConnect Snugride system last time around; it was fine but I wonder if I should be looking around at other options before going with that again.
Thanks!

You might want to consider a car seat that snaps into a regular stroller frame giving you more long term use (even after the baby outgrows the infant car seat.) Some lightweight travel strollers have this option as well.

Which Graco are you all so happy with? The snugride elite snap n go?
I see they also have one called the Modes that looks a bit nicer. Currently I'm seeing it for $200 (looks like that includes snap n go frame and car seat- it's a little heavier than the snugride snap n go), probably can get it on sale.
I already have a regular stroller that lasted nicely from my other kids; I need a car seat + an on the go stroller that I can leave in the trunk and pull out as needed. Something small and lightweight.

I have the modes. Its heavier with the seat on, but not as heavy with the seat snapped off. The car seat can be used with or without the seat, although at first I had a bit of difficulty clicking the car seat in without the seat.

Which snap n go?
I like the look and reviews on the keyfit zip air.

That’s the car seat I have actually. I have the caddy but there’s a newer snap and go base too, from looking at their website.

I had my graco for many years and loved it. It was definitely the lightest weight wise in my research.

Bumping this up
What's the best price for a snap n go frame and/or car seat?
Anyone have a link?
Or is anyone selling/giving away one in Far Rockaway/5 Towns?

Looking for recommendations in regards to infant car seat.
Not interested in Doona.
Just looking for safe, lightweight, easy to use that will go with snap-and-go.
Any reason against getting cheapest Graco SnugRide (?)
