I bought a mold to make my own plaster for my kids to paint. Anyone know what type of plaster the stores make it with? I want it to be like bought ones

You can spray with a polymer varnish. Oh and depending on your mould you can use a mould release spray, you spray the mould with that before filling with plaster, makes it easier to take off, it's good if the mould is an intricate one. You can get at any hobby or art supplies store
