I don't really like meal foods like chicken or fish. I'll tolerate it but I don't enjoy it. when dieting, especially in winter months I'm always looking for comforting food. I really need to lose some weight so I'm looking for ideas of what I can cook that's hearty and dietetic so I don't feel guilty. I can make vegetable soup. that's all that comes to mind. anything else, ladies?

Blended soup
I take any veggie, steam in very little water and blend in my vitamix until smooth
Yum, and it’s only veggies.

I enjoy the microwave bags of mixed veggies. Quick, no-mess, and warm.
I also have sugar free Choco pudding in the fridge. I make them in resealable plastic containers.
Good luck

I love baking frozen peas with a drop of salt and oil, and then snacking on them. Fun texture, and very tasty

Also: Turkish coffee with added cinnamon, and a bit of cream.mmmmmmmmm

Ginger-honey tea

I also make a fun dessert out of rice crispies, silan, and tehina which is very yummy. Just mix them up, 2:1 ratio of tehina: silan, then roll the mixture into little balls and roll the balls in dried coconut. They freeze beautifully, and make a great "I want a cookie" snack.

I’m doing weight watchers.

I love coffee and use lots of Splenda and a little vanilla almond breeze .

There’s also a company that makes sugar free brown sugar oatmeal. It’s a little sweet but I add a packet of stevia and a drop of milk.

Sautée an onion and tomato and make an omelet with melted cheese (1 slice reduced fat)

Whole wheat grilled cheese or tuna melt using reduced fat cheese

Delicious ideas, but roasted chickpeas are far from dietetic. Oatmeal you gotta be careful with too.
