In the market for an instant pot, but there are so many options! For those of you who have one, which do you recommend?

I think the two thIngs to keep in mind are:
1. What size do you want? Mine is 6 quart but I wish it was 8
2. Will you use it to make yogurt? Only one of the models has that option
I think those are the only differences

What about the cake option? Looks like only some of them have that?

Based on imamother recommendations (Thank you watergirl!) I bought the six quart pot. I'm pretty happy with that size, as I understand that it's faster than the eight quart.
I keep eying the eight quart pot though, as a second instant pot for when I have more kids home, or to double and freeze...

The 8 quart only takes longer if you have more in it. More food=more time to heat up

Happy to have helped!
Buy only the Instant Pot brand. 6qt is plenty. People don't like the 8qt because it takes longer to reach pressure (The more it can hold, the more you will fill it. The more liquid, the longer to come to pressure)
I have one for Pesach also and it was a great investment.

6 qt sounds perfect. Thinking of going with the ultra. Anyone have it?

note that unless the model has changed - that one the lid isn't as useful (can't be stored on the machine itself when the machine is 'open'. For me - it was worth the extra cost, as I have limited counter space.
