I have about half a canister left of steel cut oats (Irish style, from Shoprite) and have been informed by my children and husband that they are "thoroughly and utterly sick of oatmeal, and that any more attempts to serve it will be viewed as child neglect and spousal abuse". So how do I get rid of it? Other than just chucking it in the trash..

Use it as a filler for meat balls or meatloaf
Also use to thicken soups
