Hi, I am trying to plan a winter vacation to a Kosher hotel in Europe. I am looking for a really nice hotel, preferably new or renovated, if not then really clean and comfortable. Any ideas? I’m thinking maybe Switzerland or Austria...

Cresta is a very small hotel. Standard room there is literally place for maybe one suitcase. Lobby is small and coffee area is usually dirty

King David hotel in Prague is lovely, and you get a great breakfast! Prague is also close enough to Vienna to visit for a day trip.

I second MYkosherhotel. (Italy)
In Austria there are no kosher Hotels in the Alps in the Winter.
I you want to go to Vienna, you can stay in https://www.hotelstefanie.wien and http://www.skyapartments.at, both serve kosher breakfast.
Otherwise (Switzerland) in Davos, Crans Montana http://www.mirabeau-hotel.com/ and Arosahttp://www.levinarosa.com/metropol/index.php.

Enjoy your vacation

My kosher hotel is lovely. Just not sure what there is to do there besides ski?
I would go back there but it's a long drive from the airport. Think it was like 2.5 hours away.
Anyone else know of a hotel that's closer to the airport?

It seems like the LevinArosa is only open for the Summer. The Mirabeau seems like a good idea for us but the hotel looks so old and not very nice 🙈 have you been there? What’s it like in person?

Why do you think the Arosa hotel is closed in the winter? Their Davos hotel is only open in the summer, but the Arosa hotel is most definitely open in the winter (December 18-March 15, this year). That's when they make most of their money. Wink

Arosa in the winter is the most beautiful place.
The hotel is old, older than crans montana. If the hotel is important for you, maybe those places are not for you.

Is it open during the winter? I see it says pesach and summer 2019 but nothing about the winter.

The Kempinski Hotel in St Moritz, Switzerland is taken over as a kosher hotel during some of the winter (and summer). Google 'Starguest Kempinski' for the details. Highly recommend!

I agree that the Kempinski hotel in St Moritz is the best, was there in the summer & they also have a few kosher weeks in the winter
