I know it’s not new, but I’ve been noticing it more. Tucking in only a few inches in the front of your shirt. I don’t get it and personally, don’t like it. It looks like they’re trying to show how thin they are, but don’t want to tuck all around. And the same thing, started and didn’t have time to finish or it came out. I don’t think it looks neat, not messy, but not neat.

We had this in the 80's. I've always thought of it as a kind of hi-lo; I don't know your thoughts on that trend. In the 80's, waist lines were high and belts were a big thing. So you tucked in in front and showed your jeans or jean skirt waist and any belt you might be wearing, and the back was nice and loose, which was the thing. And it gave the large tops a bit of shape. Which we also did by tying them at the hem to one side.

Awww, I love Tan! Those guys always make me cry, they have such big hearts.
I did try to do the tuck once, and decided that it looks stupid on me. If you can pull it off, more power to you. I won't judge.

I’ve done it when wearing a skirt with a fly, because otherwise the shirt pops out over the zipper and looks bulky.
