I have a pack of Paskesz Cannoli (chocolate lined rolled wafers) bought by mistake.
Any suggestions or recipes for filling using whipped cream cheese?

I have a recipe that uses Israeli ingredients. I make it every year for Shavuot. Always a hit:
1 9% Soft Cheese - gvinah levanah
1 (8 oz) Cream Cheese
1 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp Vanilla Sugar
1 small carton (8 oz) whipping cream
1/2 pack vanilla pudding
1.Combine the 9% and cream cheese. Mix in the sugar, pudding mix and vanilla sugar.
2.Whip up the whip and and combine with the mixture.
3.Fill the cigars and decorate to your liking.
Pretty sure I got it off of imamother originally.
Anyway, I dip one end in melted milk chocolate and then roll lin chopped nuts.
I've used white chocolate too.
Sometimes I add crushed oreos to the mixture too.

Yum |
My local local grocery only has the 16oz whip. Isn't that too much?
Edited for typos.

A 16oz whip is not so much.

Super easy:
One small carton whip, 4 Tblsp, vanillla pudding mix, 2 tsp. powdered sugar
Makes enough for 18-20 cannolis.
If you want chocolate flavor, add to the whip 2 level Tblsp. cocoa and 2 Tblsp. chocolate pudding mix instead of the vanilla pudding. Increase powdered sugar to 1 heaping Tblsp.

Whip up a small Rich's whip together with a packet of vanilla pudding powder, and pipe into the shells. Serve frozen.

This sounds interesting. To clarify, you are only baking the cheese filling, correct? Because of the eggs? After baking, do you transfer into a piping bag?

Did it have this much butter in it?
4 ounces unsalted butter, softened
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
I’m wondering if this recipe is too rich?

Yes. You bake the cheese mixture & mix it every 10 minutes while baking. After baking, transfer it to a piping bag.

And how many cannolis does this fill?
Thanks!
