Yes definitely- not to repeat to others or bring it up later? Yes, my close friends. If I didn't trust them, I wouldn't be friends w them.

Edit- and of course my husband and some family members as well.

There are people in this world who know how to keep private information private. Unfortunately not everyone. Just gotta find the right people.

I never repeat what is told to me unless it is general news like someone had a baby. I realized yesterday that I don't have anyone I can trust back besides my Rabbi and DH. I wanted a different perspective than theirs on something.

I have great friends but not someone who won't tell their husband. When I talk to them, I know there's 3 people in the conversation. My sister wouldn't repeat something I told her, but she would bring it up later in a not nice way.

DH and my 3 best friends and my therapist Smile
One of those friends I've known for almost 10 years now, she is like a sister and I would not be here without her. They all have my back.

None would say anything to their DH unless I told them I don't mind. With less personal things I don't mind. But no their DH's don't know the fact I was s-xually abused and the detailed story if that's what you are asking.

Thank you Hashem for sending these people in my life!

Tivtichu is put trust in
Nidivim is Noblemen I believe.
I may be wrong about the latter but that's my memory from my transliterated tehilim.
The former is a shoresh used in modern day hebrew so I'm more familiar with it.

That's what I thought as well.
I thought it applied to when you put your trust in this 'askan' in that 'macher' to help you out, but really you need to rely on Hashem.
I wouldn't equate it with trusting a dh though.

I've always learned it meant not to fully trust any human being. We can only fully trust Hashem.

I know not to trust myself from: al taamin b'atzmicha, of course no one should trust a human being 100% as that is giving them too much which is only the realm of Hashem. You can see them as being a good shaliach and so on.

My older sister. She can be bossy but she always has my back and her advice is always good whether I follow it or not.
