I never ate it or made it. Does anyone have any super easy recipes to share? We aren't a very "healthy" family so if I'm going to introduce it, it needs to be tasty.
No time to patchke so no frying, boiling, grilling etc...

Cook per instructions. Mix in craisins and nish nosh dressing. Easy. (and not all that healthy once you add the sugar and fat)

And to make it super easy, you can cook it in a rice cooker. 1 cup quinoa to 2 cups water

I love it like Israeli salad - with cucumbers & tomatoes. Dress with olive oil, lemon, salt and cumin. Drizzle tahina over it.

Wash quinoa really well. When you think you washed it enough, wash it again. Unwashed quinoa is bitter.

Yup. I always buy the pre-washed kind so I don’t have to deal with this extra step.

Buy Ancient Harvest pre washed quinoa. No reason to make your life difficult.

If it's the first time trying it, make it plain per package directions and then toss it with vegetables and a lemon/olive oil dressing.
If you cook it up like rice the first time, your bound to not like it.
