Does anyone have an excellent endocrinologist to recommend, pref in NJ, but open to nearby areas as well.

Ask your pediatrician for a referral. I am sure they have many people in the practice that use an endocrinologist. Once you have some names you can research and ask others for their experience with the doctors.

One of the pediatricians in the practice is an endocrinologist, but I’m not happy with him.

Dr. Craig Alter from Chop. He's absolutely the best in every way. He has an office in Voorhees NJ as well as Abington PA which is not that far from Lakewood.

You can try Dr. Kate Beckwith in Jersey Shore. My daughter uses her for diabetes and absolutely adores her. She is super sweet.

Dr. Marshall in RWJ came highly recommended by my pediatrician in Lakewood. Had a great rapport with my ds at appnt.
