I found a few months ago a heavenly recipe on imamother for a melt in the mouth marble crumb cake. It yielded 3 loaf pans. I would love to make it again, but can't find the recipe. Can anyone help me, please?

Ha, had it typed in my email in a compose window for a week and a half...never closed it out
MELTAWAY CAKE
Yields 3 medium loaf pans
Batter:
6 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups oil
3 T. vanilla sugar
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups orange juice
2 T. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Chocolate mixture:
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup hot water
1 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1. Using a beater, combine first four ingredients until crumbly. Set aside 2 1/4 cups of crumbs.
2. Add rest of ingredients to remaining crumbs. Mix until well-combined.
3. In a separate bowl (I do this by hand), mix chocolate mixture. Remove 1 cup and set aside.
4. Pour remaining chocolate mixture into batter, forming two circles around the batter. Allow to stand for 10 minutes. (I don't.) Gently run a knife around the chocolate to push the chocolate mixture into the batter a bit.
5. Work with one loaf pan at a time. Place it lengthwise in front of you, and pour a third of the batter, while moving it back and forth. This will result in a beautifully striped marble effect.
6. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over each cake.
7. Bake on 350 for 50 minutes to an hour. (IMO it needs at least a full hour.)
8. Remove from oven and sprinkle with a heavy coating of confectioners sugar.
9. Pour reserved chocolate mixture into a bag, snip off a tiny corner, and drizzle cakes with chocolate. (I just pour slowly from a cup with a spout. Works fine.)

I guess it's extra for the batter but not needed for the crumbs? I don't know. I didn't make it

Correct. You first make crumbs. Afterward part of the crumbs go into the batter so the 2 tbsp of additional flour is for the batter.
I make this all the time. I think I’m the one that originally posted the recipe on imamother a few months ago.
It’s pretty and delicious too.

This looks really similar to the vanilla crumb cake on this site that uses the same technique of reverse creaming. It's what gives the cake that melt in your mouth texture.
I just made it again for this past Shabbat. It's a great cake, no fail.
Next time I will try this marbled version as a variation. Looks amazing.

Does the need to be completely cooled when doing this last 9th step? Or warm?

Was wanting to make it for months already but finally decided to do it!
Surprised that There is no salt in the recipe.
I added 1.5 tsp.

I made this cake. I'll be honest: as far as taste goes, there are cakes I like much better. But it does taste nice and it looks beautiful.
